Message from President

Dr. Deepak Gupta

INDSPN President (2025-2027)

Dear Members, it is with immense pride and a profound sense of responsibility that I step into the role of President of the Indian Society for Pediatric Neurosurgery. Our society was founded to promote the art and science of Pediatric Neurosurgery in India, and that founding purpose continues to guide every initiative we undertake.

INDSPN has grown into a strong professional community through the dedication of its members, teachers, trainees and well-wishers. The needs of children with neurosurgical disorders are complex, and our responsibility extends beyond surgical excellence to include education, awareness, mentorship, research and compassionate care.

As President, my focus is to strengthen academic programmes, encourage young neurosurgeons, support collaborative learning and promote wider participation across the country. I believe that the next phase of INDSPN must be built on shared knowledge, transparent communication and active involvement from every member.

Together, we can continue to improve standards of Pediatric Neurosurgical care in India and ensure that INDSPN remains a vibrant platform for learning, service and professional fellowship.

Message from Secretary

Dr. Kaushik Sil

Secretary, INDSPN

INDSPN is a vibrant organisation of Pediatric Neurosurgeons and those interested in Pediatric Neurosurgery. It is a growing family committed to academic exchange, clinical excellence and the development of Pediatric Neurosurgery as a focused subspecialty in the country.

The society maintains a strong liaison with national and international academic communities and continues to conduct educational courses, webinars, public awareness sessions and annual meetings. These activities create meaningful opportunities for members, residents and trainees to learn from each other and remain connected.

Our yearly conference, INDSPNCON, is an important academic gathering that brings together scientific discussion, collaboration and professional friendship. Alongside this, our virtual classroom and educational initiatives help extend learning beyond physical meetings.

We invite every member to participate actively, share ideas, contribute cases, support younger colleagues and help the society grow stronger. With collective effort, INDSPN can continue to serve children, families and the neurosurgical community with purpose and excellence.
